Tough On the Outside

You want tough? Get it with the new Super Duty. Built with the same high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy used in industries such as aerospace, transportation, and energy, Ford was able to trim its curb weight by 350 pounds.

Another noticeable difference to the 2019 Super Duty's exterior is a wide, bulging, chrome grille flanked by bracket-like headlamps that appear as tall as a fire hydrant. Additional exterior features include a fully-boxed high-strength steel frame and stronger axles.

Soft On the Inside

With 15 new Super Duty trims to choose from, drivers in Clinton, Alexandria, and Annapolis will have no problem finding one that fits their exact needs. In the base model, drivers will get a vinyl 40/20/40 split-bench front seat and a 60/40 fold-up bench seat in the back. They'll also get air-conditioning, an auxiliary audio input jack, an AM/FM radio with four speakers or six in the SuperCab and Crew Cab models.

Numerous optional features like cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and Ultimate Trailer Tow Camera System among others are also available. In other models, like the 2019 F-350 Lariat, standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, multiple 110-volt outlets, satellite radio, heated and ventilated front seats, and a rearview camera.

In the top-of-the-line 2019 F-450 Platinum, standard features include plush premium leather seats with embroidered Platinum logos displayed on all the seatbacks. It also includes a heated steering wheel and walnut wood accents throughout.

Super Powers Without a Cape

The 2019 Super Duty delivers the highest combination of horsepower and torque ever in a Ford truck. Offering a 6.2-liter gas V8 engine or a 6.7-liter V8 diesel engine, the new Super Duty is built for jobs great and small. All models put out 440 horsepower, but the 6.7-liter diesel engine delivers an extraordinary 925 lb-ft of torque.

As far as payload and towing, drivers can increase standard capacities with fifth-wheel and gooseneck towing. With the F-250, drivers can haul 4,200 pounds in the bed and tow up to 18,600 pounds. In the F-350, drivers are able to haul around 7,000 pounds and tow up to 27,700 pounds.

For Alexandria and Annapolis drivers who want extreme power, the 2019 F-450 is a pure beast. With a best-in-class payload capacity of 7,630 pounds and the ability to tow 32,500 pounds, this truck can handle anything you throw at it.
