The engine of the Expedition is mated to a 10-Speed SelectShift® Automatic Transmission. Additionally, the SUV also comes equipped with Auto Start-Stop Technology, which works to reduce idling. Together, these two features work to provide you with excellent fuel economy behind the wheel, earning an EPA-estimated 17 city/23 highway MPG, especially impressive considering the size and class of the vehicle.

Ford Expedition: Interior Layout

Moving inside the Expedition, you will find an expansive cabin space, offering room for seating and cargo-carrying alike. In its base configuration, the SUV comes ready to seat five. However, when properly configured, the 171.9 cubic feet of passenger volume will allow you to seat up to eight within the cabin.
